MAGNAT Real Estate Opportunities GmbH & Co. KGaA is a real estate company which focuses on property development in Eastern Europe, Austria and Germany.

 

MAGNAT covers the entire value chain - from research and acquisition across asset management through to flexible exit management. The exit strategies are geared towards maximising shareholder value.

 

The strategy of MAGNAT is aimed at taking advantage of opportunistic inefficiencies in property markets. Unlike the traditional "Buy & Hold approach, MAGNAT takes a "Develop & Sell" or "Buy & Sell" approach, which focuses on property development and is supplemented by portfolio trading.

 

In contrast with traditional investment strategies, this enables MAGNAT to profit not only from rental income, but also and above all from attractive development returns. All projects must satisfy an above average return requirement.

 

Through its subsidiaries MAGNAT Group offers also Real Estate Asset Management for third parties and tax relief programs/builders models in Austria.

 

The management focuses on property markets which demonstrate interesting development cycles: undervalued markets ("anti-cyclical investing") and markets with high macroeconomic growth ("growth markets"). The geographical focus is on Central, Eastern and South-eastern Europe, supplemented by special situations in the home market of Germany and Austria.
